Photographing in Cuba is both difficult and easy. Its easy because there is so much texture and activity that just pointing and shooting is enough. Although if you really want to get away from the obvious, and create magic. It is a challenge. Its taken me a while to get past the "noise" and start focusing on some of the deeper things. Its still very much a work in progress. As I travel back to Cuba over the course of the year with workshops. I will see beyond the obvious, and be able to guide the workshop clients to do the same.
